Mark A. Wooden of 6031 Podunk Road, Trumansburg passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, November 9, 2002 at the age of 40.
Born on February 8, 1962 in Ithaca, Mark was the son of James H. Wooden of Trumansburg and Lois Tomlinson Wooden who passed away on August 13, 2001.
Mark was a well-liked member of the Trumansburg High School's graduating class of 1982. Over the years he continued to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. An avid sportsman, Mark always enjoyed being outdoors, especially during hunting and fishing season.
In addition to his father, James H. Wooden of Trumansburg, Mark is survived by his devoted wife, Amy of Trumansburg; twin sons, Tyler and Travis Wooden of Trumansburg, a son, Jason (Lelani) Grant of Trumansburg and a daughter, Jennifer (Larry) Grant of Ithaca; four grandsons; one sister, Bondolin J. Postell of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Luke (Denise) of Ithaca; paternal grandmother, Lillian M. Wooden of Trumansburg and four nephews.
