Linda K. PalmerLinda K. Palmer of 24 Elm St, Trumansburg, passed away at the Hospicare residence on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the age of 71.

Born in Honesdale, Pennsylvania on July 10, 1938, Linda was the daughter of Harold and Elma (Perry) Iloff. Throughout her life Linda’s heart was open for the benefit of others. Her warm smile and sincere hugs made those who knew her feel special.  The lives of family and friends were brightened by her gifts of beautiful handmade crafts and crocheted treasures. Linda enjoyed the many friendships developed at the Trumansburg Senior Citizens, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #1253 Auxiliary in Ithaca, and her second family at Juniper Manor. Elvis Presley never had a more devout fan than Linda. She often spoke of her visit to Graceland and reminisced about attending one of his concerts. She knew the words to many of his songs, but held a special place in her heart for Elvis’ song “I Believe”.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Frank L. Palmer and a brother Harold. She is survived by a son Gavin (Donna Moyer) Vincent of Cookeville, TN; a daughter-in-law Terry (Joe) Peek of Bowling Green, KY; four grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Justin, and Ariel; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Kimberly; a brother Gary (Zoreah) Iloff of Rossville, TN and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
