JoAnn TompkinsJoAnn Marie Tompkins of Trumansburg passed away at home in the loving presence of her children and grandchildren on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the age of 83.

JoAnn was born on February 11, 1934, a daughter of the late Charles Kaiser and Frances (Lawrence) Level Haynes. She worked for many years at the Lasing School for Girls as a cook. She was a gift to all who knew her with her tremendous love and faith in the Lord. JoAnn treated all who crossed her path with a love and tenderness not to be surpassed. Her family was her greatest blessing with which she acknowledged and thanked God for on a daily basis. A woman who not only counted her blessings, but saw them. She gave a helping hand to all who knew her and a loving mother and grandmother does not even begin to express her true nature. She will be greatly missed.
