Steven E. Welch of Trumansburg passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 64.

Steven was born on September 24, 1953, a son of the late Edward and Tosca (Gori) Welch. He graduated from Trumansburg High School and immediately began working in construction and contracting. In his early 30’s, Steven began running his own contracting business, S.E.W. Contracting Inc., and was successfully still operating the business. A nature lover, he enjoyed spending time outside watching birds, caring for his horses, gardening, and golfing. Steven was a lifetime member of the NRA and Republican Party and loved engaging in political conversation.

More than anything, Steven treasured time spent with his closest family and friends. He had a huge heart, was always willing to lend a hand, and loved his family unconditionally.
