Addison  Gunning

Addison Jean Gunning, 11 month old daughter of Amanda and Brian Gunning passed away with her family and extended cardiac family at her side at Strong Memorial Hospital on September 13, 2017.

Addison was born in Syracuse on October 9, 2016. Although her time here was brief, her little spirit brought much joy and love to her family. Addy was a fighter from the beginning, always looking up at her caregivers and family with a smile, despite all of her physical challenges. Her family will forever cherish their memories with her.

Addison is survived by her loving parents, Amanda and Brian Gunning; two siblings, Mackenzi and Gabriel; grandparents, Debbie and Douglas Gunning and Wayne and Tanya Snyder; great grandmother, Irene Richtmyer; great great grandmother, Ruth Carpenter; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Richard Richtmyer, who Addy had a special bond with.

The family will be present to receive friends from 1:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Trumbulls Corners Community Church, 628 Trumbulls Corners Road, Newfield. Burial will be private for family.
