Alta D. Parker

Alta D. Parker, age 84, of 162 Jacobs Drive, Ithaca, NY died Friday February 8th at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ray and Zada Durling, and a life resident of Tompkins County, most of which time she lived on Durling Road, Trumansburg, moving to Ithaca in 1999.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda P. Zarcone of Penfield, NY and a son, James E. Parker and his partner Kyle W. Shadix of New York, NY. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Gladys Durling of Interlaken as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Walter E. Parker in 1995, as well as her two brothers Clyde and Lawrence Durling and her sister and brother-in-law Mary and Michael Churey.

At her request there are no calling hours. Graveside Services will be held at Grove Cemetery, Trumansburg, on Thursday February 14th at 2:30 pm with a reception to follow at The Falls Restaurant, Main Street, Trumansburg.
