Ana M. Zavala

Ana M. Zavala, age 66, of Trumansburg/Hector, NY passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on October 30, 2022.

Ana was born on May 3, 1956 in Brooklyn, NY the first born of Graciano and Ramonita (nee Ramos) Zavala.

Ana was the family genealogist and the glue of all her family gathers, holidays, and events. She was a consummate baker and party planner for her nieces, nephews and family members creating beautiful cakes and desserts. She had a deep devotion to her faith and was a member of St. James Catholic Church for many years. Ana received a bachelors in business from CW Post Long Island and pursued an associate’s in Arts from TC3.

Ana is survived by her mother, Ramonita Zavala; siblings, George Zavala, Edda (William) Zavala-Agosto and Marion Zavala; her nieces and nephews, Monique (Shane) Frankovic, Angelo (Amie) Zavala, Chantalle Zavala, Addelis Agosto and Alexavier Agosto; her great nieces and nephews, Jayleen Zavala, Luka Frankovic, Jason Rogers Jr., Chloe and Donovan Frankovic; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased in death by her father, Graciano, brother, Joe Zavala and niece Jacqueline Zavala.

Calling hours will be held on Friday November 4, 2022 from 1:00-2:00pm at St. James Catholic Church 17 Whig Street, Trumansbrug. A funeral Mass will begin at 2:00pm, burial will immediately follow at St. James Cemetery in Trumansburg.
