Anne Sherwood Ouellette

Anne Sherwood Ouellette, 75, of Salem, VA became an angel and went to heaven peacefully on January 21, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jane Park Sherwood and Arthur Sherwood of Ithaca, NY. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Felshaw of Atlanta, GA and Barbara (Rob) Rigatti of Daleville, VA two beautiful grandchildren, Abby and Ryan Rigatti, brother Don (Anne) Sherwood of Groton, NY and three nieces: Debbie Tudi (Pat), Sherry Wintermute (Glen) and Jenny Sherwood.

Originally from Ithaca, NY and a graduate of Ithaca High School, Anne worked for the Ithaca City School District in various roles for 37 years, with her final, and favorite position serving as Assistant to the Athletic Director. She cared deeply for the friends, teachers and students she worked with daily. Anne moved to Virginia after her retirement in 2004 be closer to her daughters. Anne loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

A service will be held at Frear Memorial Park in Ithaca, NY on June 2nd at 11am. All friends, co-workers and family are welcome to join us to celebrate and remember Anne.
