Antoinette R. Labuff

Antoinette R. LaBuff of Ithaca and formerly of Niverville passed away at Cayuga Ridge on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the age of 95.

Antoinette was born in Mount Vernon on March 29, 1922 a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Negri) Polese. She lived at the McGraw House in Ithaca for 25 years and was instrumental in arranging regular coffee hour gatherings. Also while in Ithaca, Antoinette was a member of Immaculate Conception and Catholic Daughters. A phenomenal baker, she regularly baked goodies for the brave men and women at the Ithaca Fire Department. More than anything, Antoinette cherished time spent with her family and particularly her grandsons.

Antoinette is survived by a son, Lee (Cindy) LaBuff; two grandsons, Kyle and Patrick LaBuff; and two sisters, Gloria Guido and Rose Turco. In addition to her parents, Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband, Leon LaBuff; brother, Anthony Polese; and sister, Frances Sigler.

A Graveside Service will be held in the spring for immediate family.
