Beverly H. Ness

Beverly H. Ness formerly of Trumansburg passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 in Ambler, Pennsylvania.

She was born on August 14, 1927 in Utica to the late Anthony and Evelyn Hamberger.

Beverly and her husband, Ralph “Bud” Ness founded Ness Funeral Home in Trumansburg in 1950. She was a member of the St. James the Apostle Church Women’s Guild. She enjoyed garden club as well as contributing to the conservation and restoration efforts of native bird populations.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ness in 2011. She is survived by her four children and their families: Christopher (Mary) Ness, Matthew (Heather) Ness, Mark (MarieElena) Ness and Regina (Doug) Langley. She is also survived by her sister Bernadette Lottermoser, grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces, nephews and many friends.

The family will be present to receive friends on Friday December 12, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:00am at the St. James the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 17 Whig Street Trumansburg. Mass will be celebrated by Father Bernard Maloney at 10:00am on Friday December 12, at the St. James the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.
