Blanch SanSoucie Stout, age 68, of 86 Black Oak Rd., Trumansburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, March 16, 2007.

Born on June 24, 1938, in Enfield, Blanch was a daughter of Nelson and Grace Tucker SanSoucie (Hill).

After graduating in 1955 from Ithaca High School, Blanch became one of the first key punch operators at Cornell University. She then worked as a cook in the Trumansburg School System; she then returned to working with computers as a data processor in Rochester and later at Cayuga Medical Center where she was employed until her retirement.

In earlier years, Blanch was an avid flower and vegetable gardener. She enjoyed camping and any venture that involved the out of doors, including working with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Her fondest memories were those of family gatherings.

She gave sacrificially of her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her joy. The tasty memories of Blanch's cooking and baking, especially the beautiful birthday cakes, will long linger in the hearts of her loved ones.

Blanch was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson SanSoucie and Grace SanSoucie Hill; her husband, James J. Stout and her brother, Louis San Soucie.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo A. (Brian) Marion of Enfield; son, Robert N. (Valerie) Lovelace of Arlington, OH; seven grandchildren, Sharon (Shawn) Tuttle of Freeville, Debra (Aaron) Tuttle of Lansing, Renee (John) Brehm of Groton, Andrew Lovelace, and Rochelle Lovelace of Arlington, OH, Timothy Marion and Connie Marion of Enfield; two great-grandchildren, Madison Seamans and Mathias Brehm. Also surviving Blanch are two sisters, Jean (Douglas) Trenchard of Trumansburg and Bertha (Kenneth Sr.) Hubbell of Enfield and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Enfield on Sunday, March 18, from 4-6 pm and on Monday, March 19, from 10-11 a.m.

A Memorial Service, at the church, will be on Monday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. E. Jack Osburn officiating.
