Mary Carolyn Hubbell Salino, 88, of Enfield, NY passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017.

She was born on July 10, 1929 to Raymond and Hilda Jones Hubbell, the fourth child of twelve. Carolyn attended Enfield District School Number 11, then Ithaca High School. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and met her husband-to-be, Robert Salino, while working at Memorial Hospital in Ithaca, NY. They married on October 6, 1951 at Enfield Methodist Church. They had four sons, and after they started school, Carolyn worked in food service at Trumansburg School District from which she retired. She was an avid gardener and cook. She spent many hours growing vegetables in her large garden which she then preserved by canning, freezing and drying. She was also an avid Yankees fan.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Robert, her grandson, Anthony Salino, her brothers, Richard Hubbell and Alan Hubbell and her sisters, Margaret Stark, Katherine Walker, Virginia Hall and Marcia Knight. Carolyn is survived by her sons, Marc (Cathy) Salino, Pete (Karen) Salino, Mathew Salino and Scott (Kim) Salino; her grandchildren, Ryan (Emily), Stephen, Craig, Alex and Madeline Salino; her great-grandchildren, Anthony, Brayden, Rylee, Avery and Kyla; her brothers, Roger, Charles (Shirley), Jon and Michael (Patricia) Hubbell; her sister Nancy Breen; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 2:00 to 5:00pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg.

Her family would like to thank Comfort Keepers and the staff at Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Beechtree Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Also, thank you to Frankie Nolan for her care and companionship.
