Daisy C. Hamilton

Daisy C. Hamilton, of 5147 Cold Springs Rd., Trumansburg, passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the age of 82.

Born in Ithaca on May 28, 1925, Daisy was the daughter of Richard and Sarah Greenwood Smith. Daisy was employed by Emerson Power Transmission as a machine operator for many years. Leisure time was spent crocheting and caring for her beloved dogs.

Daisy was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar; two brothers, Walker and Mason and two sisters, Louise and Helen.

She is survived by one daughter, Pearl of Trumansburg; one son, Lewis of Ithaca; four grandchildren, Lynn, Becky, Rick and Lewis, Jr.; one great-grandson, Daniel; one sister, Jeanette Wells of Ithaca; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Daisy's wishes, no public services have been scheduled.
