David Wesley Mulks

David Wesley Mulks, age 73, of Mecklenburg, NY passed away surrounded by family on December 8, 2021.

He was born on October 25, 1948 in Ithaca, NY the son of the late Charles F. and Carley (Chilson) Mulks.

David was a graduate from Ithaca High School Class of 1966. He then served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He piloted his own Cessna plane and loved riding motorcycles. His passion was auto mechanics where he would often be found fixing up many cars at his property. He will be remembered for being a loving and involved family man, who found peace in his Mormon faith.

David is survived by his siblings Charles F. (Martha) Mulks Jr., and Nancy Mulks Rose; sister-in-law, Trudy Theetge; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by his step-father, Melvin Theetge Sr. and siblings; Melvin Theetge Jr., James Theetge and Anne Mulks Muckey.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00am on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00am on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Charles Mulks Cemetery 2596 Slaterville Rd, Slaterville Springs, NY 14881.
