Mildred E. Tuttle of 26 Seneca St, Trumansburg passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving children, on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at the age of 77.
Born on April 24, 1925 in Clarktson, New York, Mildred was the daughter of Millard and Mildred Fisher Foster.
Mildred was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She devoted her entire life to raising and caring for her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann (Robert) McCord, Joyce Denmark, Marion (Mike) Boylon, Donna (Larry) Creswell, Susan (Andrew) Barrett, Helen (Ron) Riley, Jean Hubbell (Brett Anderson), Patricia Barrett (Barry) and Carol Tuttle (Mike Sporri); her sons, James McMillen, Allen (Joan) Tuttle) and Donald Tuttle (Brenda Wickum); her ex-husband, Richard (Laura) Tuttle and Molly. Mildred also raised four of her grandchildren, Leonard, Brenda, Tony and John Austin and has 96 other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Edward, Ken, Dick and Leonard and by her sisters, Dorothy, Geraldine and Jean.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her brother Pete, her son-in-law Leon Denmark and her son John.
Services will be held at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South St, Trumansburg on Friday, November 15, 2002 at 10:00 am with the Rev. Pete Hood officiating. Prayers of Committal will follow at the Hector Union Cemetery in Burdett.
