Elsie Bellocchi Moller of Trumansburg, formerly of Little Falls, New York, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, May 8, 2015, at the age of 92.
Elsie was born in Little Falls on June 26, 1922, daughter of the late Pietro and Marianna (Fenni) Bellocchi. She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1940, and from Albany Business College in 1942. After her marriage in 1950, Elsie lived in Branford, Connecticut and Humlebaek, Denmark before returning to Little Falls. She worked for many years as administrative secretary for the Little Falls High School where she was much-loved and respected by her superiors and colleagues. She retired in 1984.
Elsie was a loving mother, dedicated to her family. She had a kind and generous heart, always thinking of others. She loved the simple beauties of nature and enjoyed her garden and home. She was well-known for her excellent cooking and baking. Elsie was deeply devout, loving God and her family above all else. She was a faithful member of Holy Family in Little Falls and St. James Church in Trumansburg. Because of her strength of character and compassion for others, she was, and still is, an inspiration to all who knew her, especially her children.
Elsie is survived by two sons, Just C. Moller of Ipswich, MA and Kim J. Moller of Prince Frederick, MD; three daughters, Kirsten M. (FJ) Lawrence of Albany, Ingrid M. Potenza of Ipswich, MA, and Marianna M. Wright of Trumansburg; ten grandchildren, Adam and Katrina Lawrence, Korin, Kirsten, and Brita Potenza, Peter, Benjamin, and Elsa Wright, and Abigail and Kristian Moller; six great grandchildren, Ansen, Rowen, Keagen, Boden, Sofiya, and Elise; a sister in law, Lilan Bellocchi; a nephew and a niece, Luke Bellocchi and Jackie Bellocchi; and two cousins, Otto Nauman and Francis Nauman. In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by a son, Navel Pilot Lt. Peter J. Moller; and a brother, Natale H. Bellocchi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Monday, May 11, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church in Trumansburg. Prayers of Committal will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Little Falls at the convenience of the family.
