Francis C. “Frank” Chase

Francis C. (Frank) Chase, born in Ithaca, March 16, 1932, entered eternal life, June 19, 2017.

Builder, for more than 40 years, of several apartment buildings and over 200 houses in the Ithaca area; in Ellis Highlands, Cayuga Heights, Horizons in Lansing, North East area, Homestead Circle, Belle Sherman, Danby, Groton, Slaterville, Freeville and Enfield. He was admired by many, imitated by some, and greatly respected by his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Rev. William H. Chase; mother, Flora T. Chase; brother Richard Chase; and sister, Mary Jane Fuller. He is survived by his brother Rev. Martin Chase (Barbara) of Waycross, GA.; sister-in-law, Gloria Chase of Owego, NY; brother-in-law, Raymond Fuller, Sr. (Eleonora) of Syracuse, NY and his wife of 66 years, Carol M. Chase of Ithaca and children: Michelle DeChant (Oliver) of Montour Falls, NY; Kim L Chase of Ithaca, NY; Randall Chase (Amy) of Cape Coral, FL; Daniel Chase (Janet Booth) of Ithaca and Jeffrey Chase of Boynton Beach, FL. eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Private burial will be held by the family.

A Memorial and Celebration of his life with a reception to follow for all friends and family will be held on July 1, at 11 am at the Danby Community Church, 1859 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY.
