Freda D. (Griswold) Clark of Trumansburg passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on November 20, 2014 at the age of 93.
Freda was born on April 15, 1921 a daughter of the late Francis and Bernice (Morrow) Griswold. She loved her life in Trumansburg after extensive military travel with her husband. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed making items for her family. Freda enjoyed working in her yard and mowing the lawn on her tractor.
Freda is survived by her four sons, Theodore (Betty) Clark Sr. of Sebring, OH, Robert (Nancy) Clark of Trumansburg, Jack (Tanna) Clark of Freeville, and Richard (Cecile) Clark of Stockbridge, GA; two daughters, Sharon (Gene) Paneccasio of Lake Park, FL and Karen Clark of Trumansburg; seven grandchildren, Theodore (Nancy) Clark Jr., Carlton (Jean) Clark, Paula (Joe) Rossetti, Alan (Jennifer) Paneccasio, Lisa Clark, Stacey Clark, and Jerald (Marti Jo) Clark; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister, Berta (Griswold) Schott; sister in law, Marion (Mills) Griswold; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her husband, Chief Master Sgt. Leslie A. Clark, US Air Force; four brothers, Philip, Carlton, Glenn, and Ralph; and a sister, Shirley (Griswold) Russell.
The family will be present to receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 4:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
