Gary Richard Snyder

Gary Richard Snyder, age 75, of Trumansburg passed away at home on March 9, 2022.

Gary was born on September 28, 1946 a son of the late Norm and Francis (Way) Snyder. He worked for the City of Ithaca in the water and sewer department for over 30 years. Gary loved the simple things in life; working in his garage with his son getting ready for the annual demolition derby, taking drives around Trumansburg, and his beloved late wife, Jeanne.

Gary is survived by his son, Mike Snyder; daughter, Jackie Philips; grandchildren, Ayla and Chucky Neiss and Sara and Savannah Blomker; a great granddaughter, Karsyn; sister, Kathy Rumsey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Snyder; and daughter, Michelle Neiss.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg.
