Harold S. “Mack” Macdougall

Harold S. ‶Mack″ MacDougall, age 94, passed away at Hospicare of Tompkins County on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

Harold was born in Ithaca on July 26, 1925, a son of the late Harrison Claude and Dorothy (Sherman) MacDougall. Harold was a retired machinist from Morse Chain/Emerson. In addition to his love for antique cars and tractors Harold was a member of Ithaca Old Car Enthusiasts and Car Pride, where he enjoyed showing off his 1950 Ford Crestliner and 1967 Chevelle.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Roger) MacDougall Ganoung; his grandchildren, Kari (Diego) Ruiz, Melanie (Michael) LaVere, and Jason (Ashlee) Ganoung; his great grandchildren, Haylie Wilbert, Caton Wilbert, Jesse Ganoung, Elle Ganoung, and Caleb LaVere; his longtime friend Pat Mahoney; and sister-in-law Joy Smith. Harold was preceded in death by his wife Alice Smith MacDougall in 1983 and his second wife Patricia Dayton MacDougall in 2001, and his son James MacDougall.

A Memorial Service will be held by the family, on October 19th at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Trumansburg 4443 E Seneca Rd, Trumansburg, NY 14886. A reception will follow in the church hall.
