Hope C. Bower

Hope C. Bower of Trumansburg, New York passed away peacefully at Seneca View Nursing on November 15th 2019, at the age of 95.

Hope was born in Ithaca, on August 4, 1924, a daughter of the late Alvan and Helen (Thompson) Conde. She graduated from Trumansburg High School in 1942. Hope was a devoted wife and mother and was a member of the Ulysses Historical Society and Searsburg Community Church.

Hope is survived by her daughter, Conde and her husband Geoff Shallard of Yarmouth, Maine; daughter-in-law, Nancy Bower of Trumansburg; three grandchildren, Ryan Shallard and his wife Stephanie, Wayne Bower and his wife Sarah, and Kelly Sturges; three great-grandchildren, Lucas, Helen, and Wesley; and several nieces and nephews. Hope was preceded in death by her husband, Walter ‶Pete″ Bower in 1993; son, Mark Bower in 1997; and sister, Ruth Farrell and her husband Ed.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or public services.
