J. Eastman, Barbara

Barbara J. Eastman, of 167 Jacobs Drive, Ithaca, passed away at the Cayuga Medical Center on Friday, April 8, 2005, at the age of 82.

Born on June 18, 1922 in Ithaca, NY, Barbara was the daughter of Claude and Ethel Rumsey Wood. She grew up in Trumansburg with her family and moved later to Ithaca.

She worked many years as a bookkeeper at Altman & Green Jewelers and later Mansour Jewelers of Ithaca.

In keeping with Barbara's wishes, no public calling hours have been scheduled and burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Ithaca will be private.
