J. Farrell, Edward

Edward J. Farrell of 9586 Route 96, Trumansburg, died on Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Hospicare in Ithaca.

Ed was born and raised in Victor, New York. In 1943 he married Ruth Conde in Trumansburg. During WWII he served his country as a naval officer in Brazil, Washington, DC and Pearl Harbor. In 1945 Ed returned to Trumansburg, established Farrell-Messler Insurance, and he served the community well.

In addition to his wife of 61 years, Ed is survived by his children, Joe (Bobbi), Mary (Rick) and Patrick (Amy); two sisters, Esther and Madeline (Norris), and seven grandchildren, Megan, Clarissa, Robert, Andrew, Elizabeth, Jessi and Silas.

In accordance with Ed's wishes, no calling hours will be scheduled. A private family service will be held at the family home.
