J. Terry, Gordon

Gordon J. Terry of 7225 Searsburg Rd., Trumansburg, passed away at the Lakeside Nursing Home on Monday, May 24, 2004 at the age of 82.

Born on August 23, 1921 in Ithaca, NY, Gordon was the son of the late Henry C. and Emma Afford Terry.

He was employed as a machinist for Emerson Electric for 42 years, retiring in 1983. Gordon was a life-long resident of Trumansburg and a member of Searsburg Community Church.

Gordon was preceded in death by his wife Frances M. Terry in 1974. He is survived by a sister Lorraine Svenson of Leesburg, VA and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Gordon's wishes, services will be private.
