J. Stoel, Jessica

Jessica J. Stoel, of 5966 Bower Rd., Trumansburg passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 26, 2004 at the age of 18.

Born on February 22, 1986 in Trumansburg, Jessica was the daughter of the late John W. Stoel, (who passed away on February 17, 2002), and Sandra A. Campbell Stoel of Trumansburg.

Jessica devoted her life to the care and nurture of others. She was a rock of support to her mother following the death of her father. In her profession outside the home, Jessica chose home health care which enabled her to minister to those needing assistance within the comfort of their homes.

Jessica found solace in her writing, music and art and excelled in all three. Her radiance coupled with a genuine concern for others made a person feel a warmth when in her presence. The warmth welling up from deep within her was even enjoyed by her beloved horse, Ocean Spray. Jessica's engaging eyes and beautiful smile will forever be embedded in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, Jessica was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Carlton Fish. She is survived by her mother, Sandy; eight brothers, Sean, Ryan, Luke, Benjamin, Schuyler, Austin, Caleb, and Joshua; two sisters, Laura and Rebecca; maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Houghtalen; paternal grandparents, Jeannette and Albert Stoel; aunts and uncles, Glenn and David Stoel, Cliff and Rick Campbell, Sharon (William) Mosher, Abbie (John) Loan and thirteen cousins.

The family will be present to receive their friends at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South St., Trumansburg on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 from 4-7 pm.

Services will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church, 5 Bradley St., Trumansburg on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 10:30 am with the Rev. Timothy Hamilton and the Rev. Doug Brock officiating. Prayers of Committal will follow at the Jones Cemetery in Trumansburg.
