Jacqueline L. LaBar of Trumansburg passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the age of 70.
Jackie was born in Buffalo on October 12, 1946, a daughter of the late Gerald and Lois (Myers) LeFever. She began working for NYSEG in 1964 and retired in 2010 after 45 years of service as a clerk. Over the years, Jackie enjoyed camping with her family, flower gardening, drawing, painting, and was an amazing and gifted cook.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Keith LaBar; four children, Scott (Eun Kyung) Huttleston, Shelley (Jeff) LaBar Craine, Shalina LaBar, and Seth (Robert) LaBar; four grandchildren, Derrick, Aiyanna, Angelina, and Allegra; aunt, Virginia Gould; brothers and sisters in law, Dean (Helen) LaBar and Richard (Donna) Perry; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Robinson; and a brother, Mark LeFever.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Jacksonville United Methodist Church.
