James R. Moore

James R. Moore, Sr. of 22 Schaber Drive, Ithaca, passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Monday, February 16, 2009 at the age of 74.

Born in Trumansburg, New York on October 23, 1934, James was the son of the late Clarence and Alice (Newberry) Moore.

James loved to spend time outdoors fishing and working on cars. On Monday nights, he could be found at home watching professional wrestling.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Lettie Moore, and sister Eunice Moore. James is survived by one son James (Amanda) Moore Jr.; one daughter Jamie (Wayne Jr.) Hall; nine grandchildren Derek, Sierra, and Dustin Borel, CJ, Chase, and Carl McCoy, Kori-Anne Pond, Jessica, and Jayden Hall; and his best friend Richard Cassin.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 6:00 pm with the Reverend John Kotun officiating at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South St., Trumansburg.
