Jane E. Kellogg

Jane E. Kellogg of Interlaken and formerly of Ithaca went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the age of 72.

Jane was born on December 14, 1943 the only child of the late Harold and Marian (Whitley) Kellogg. She graduated from Ithaca City School in the 1960’s and studied at the Famous Writing School in 1970. Jane worked for Cornell University and the Alpha House utilizing her computer skills at each job.

She had a passion for writing, completing such works as “The Burglary.” An animal lover, she cared for many dogs and cats over the years and was involved with 4-H, working with horses. A devoted daughter, Jane cared for her mother for many years. Together Jane and Marian enjoyed working in their flower gardens. She had worked on genealogy for many years, searching for family members as far back as the 1700’s. Jane has ended her earthly journey and a heavenly one has begun.

Jane is survived by many friends in the Ithaca and Interlaken area.

Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Covert Baptist Church, 9268 Route 96, Interlaken with Pastor Adam Porter officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the church.
