Jon H. Hubbell

Jon H. Hubbell of Enfield passed away in his field doing what he loved on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the age of 79.

Jon was born in Ithaca on July 25, 1939, a son of the late Raymond and Hilda (Jones) Hubbell. A lifelong farmer, he worked his farm all while working for the Enfield Highway Department. Following his retirement from his 34 year career at the highway department, Jon continued to have his daily coffee with the crew at the town building.

Jon is survived by four siblings, Roger Hubbell, Charles Hubbell, Michael Hubbell, and Nancy Breen; nephew and niece, Raymond (Jennifer) and Michelle Hubbell; great nephews and niece, Zachary, Jonathan, Nicholas, Joseph, Samuel, Benjamin, and Elizabeth; as well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to his parents, Jon was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Sarah Marshall; and seven siblings, Richard Hubbell, Margaret Stark, Carolyn Salino, Katherine Walker, Virginia Hall, Alan Hubbell, and Marcia Knight.

A Dish to Pass will be held in Jon❜s memory from 1:00 to 3:00pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Enfield Grange. Burial will be held privately for family.
