Judith G. Loan

Judith Gail Loan was born December 15, 1940 in Concord, NH. The youngest of four daughters, born to William John Loan and Helen Sampson Loan. They moved to Interlaken NY in September 1956 where Judy attended Interlaken Central School and graduated in June 1958. Judy started working for Cornell University in July 1958 and continued at Cornell in various positions until she retired in April 1995. She was a life member of the Ithaca Dog Training Club and was an animal lover of all animals especially dogs and cats.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, reading, and watching movies. She particularly enjoyed getting together with her former classmates.

She is predeceased by her father and mother, two eldest sisters, Sylvia Loan Kinne and Lorraine Loan Miller, brothers in law Arthur Kinne Sr., Gerald Miller Sr., and James Golden, one nephew William John Golden.

She is survived by her sister Beverly Loan Golden of Virginia Beach, Virginia and many Nieces, Nephews, great Nieces and great Nephews.

Judy has requested a closed casket along with no calling hours. Burial service will be at Grove Cemetery at 1:00 pm Friday July 13, 2018. Ness-Sibley Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the ASCPA, Alzheimer's Association, and the Trumansburg Fire Dept. and Ambulance Squad.
