Karla A. Ferguson

Karla A. Ferguson of Trumansburg passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the age of 64.

Karla was born on December 18, 1954, a daughter of the Ken Harvey and Shirley Groom. She worked for Doctor❜s without Boarders for several years and as an Operation Room Technician at Cayuga Medical Center for over 30 years. Karla was a member of Finger Lakes Car Pride Association where she loved riding around in her 1946 Chevy ½ ton truck, of which she was very proud. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time tending to her flower beds.

Karla is survived by her husband, Harry Ferguson; son Harry (Donna) Ferguson Jr.; daughter Vicki (Raymond) Whittaker; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emmalee, William, Violet, and Aurora; siblings Karen Harvey, Kevin (Melinda) Harvey, Tate Harvey; mother, Shirley (Frank) Groom; and best friend, Linda Frank. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Todd Harvey.

The family will be present to receive friends from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street Trumansburg. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
