Kevin T. Boyd

Kevin Tucker Boyd of Trumansburg passed away unexpectedly at Cayuga Medical Center on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the age of 60.

Kevin was born on December 15, 1956 in Ithaca, a son to Clair and Shirley (Tucker) Boyd. A hard worker throughout his entire life, Kevin operated his own business doing everything from carpentry to plumbing to electrical work. He treated his friends like family and was always willing to help anyone out. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. Kevin was a loving father, son, brother, and friend who will be missed by all.

Kevin is survived by his son, Nic Gregoire-Boyd; mother, Shirley Boyd; three siblings, Gina (Dale) Prince, Neil (Barb) Boyd, Mary (Brian) Ridley; loving dog, Chasta; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clair Boyd.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Trumansburg United Methodist Church, 80 East Main Street, Trumansburg. A reception will follow the service at the Interlaken Sportmen’s Club, 8561 Tunison Road, Interlaken. Burial will be private for family.
