Lani M. Baker

Lani M. Baker of Trumansburg passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the age of 64.

Lani was born in Hawaii on August 15, 1951, a daughter of the late Francis and Roseline (Paishon) Burke. She worked as a teacher’s aide at the Trumansburg Central Schools and as a clerk at Shur Save in Trumansburg.

Lani is survived by her husband of 43 years, Brian Baker; son Cory (Lauren) Baker; two grandchildren, Kendall and Brooke; two sisters, Patti Burke and Toni Adams; nephews, Michael and Matthew; aunt, Verla Gabriel; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. In addition to her parents, Lani was preceded in death by her brother, William “Butch” Burke.

The family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg.
