Lena Douglas

Lena Douglas of Trumansburg, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2018 at the age of 95.

Lena is survived by a son, William (Bonnie) Douglas Jr.; a granddaughter, Anitra (Rob) McCarthy; two sisters, Mary “Jean” Pauldine and Carmelita Cardone; former daughter-in-law, Marsha Powell and many nieces and nephews. Lena was preceded in death by her husband, William Douglas in 2004; brother, Vincent Cardone; and two sisters, Teresa Osborn and Anne Brown.

Lena was a devout Catholic throughout her entire life and was a very active member of St. James Catholic Church. Her life was spent tending to every need of the church and she was truly a pillar of St. James.

Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church by Father Bernard Maloney and Father John Tokaz.
