Lena L. Everhart of Enfield passed away at home surrounded by family on June 30, 2021 at the age of 68.

Lena was born in Ithaca on August 10, 1952, a daughter of the late Frank and Arlene (Quick) Lupo. With a servant’s heart, Lena always wanted to help in any way she could, especially with children. She homeschooled her own children and several grandchildren and taught Sunday School and VBS at Trumbulls Corners Community Church. Most of all, she deeply cared for and loved her husband, children, and grandchildren unconditionally.

Lena is survived by her husband of 49 years, Douglass Everhart; two children, Tania (James) Moore Jr. and Matthew (Brenda) Everhart; six grandchildren, Rian and Sabrena Allen and Jared, Jaedyn, Lydia, and Lena Everhart; great granddaughter, Savannah Camp; two sisters, Lana Lupo-Washburn and Sharon Allen; half-brother, Hank Lupo-Guthrie; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lena was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Bernal.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Trumbulls Corners Community Church, 628 Trumbulls Corners Road, Newfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks those that would like to make a contribution in Lena’s memory to kindly consider the Trumbulls Corners Community Church.
