Linda K. (Kozak) Andrew

Linda K. Andrew of Trumansburg passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the age of 80.

Linda was born in Buffalo on December 14, 1942, a daughter of the late Edmund and Irene (Lamka) Kozak. She took great pride in raising her three sons and was an active part of her grandchildren’s lives. Working as an administrative assistant for many years at the Luster Law Firm, Linda continued with Martin Luster as his administrative assistant in his NYS Assembly office in Ithaca and she continued as administrative assistant for 6 years for Assemblywoman, Barbara Lifton.

Following her retirement, Linda volunteered in Trumansburg at the Gemm Shop and Trumansburg Food Pantry. She also served as the secretary for the First Presbyterian Church of Ulysses for over 20 years. In her quiet time she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and watching Hallmark movies at Christmas time (her favorite holiday).

Linda is survived by three sons, Scott (Melanie), David, and Michael Andrew; five grandchildren, Ryan, Stephanie, Caleb, Mary Elizabeth, and Zachary Andrew, and step grandchild, Alexandria Thompson; and a sister, Brenda (John) Olshan and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Andrew; and daughter in law, Christine “CeeCee” Andrew.

The family will be present to receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Saturday, September 2nd at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 7th at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Ulysses, 69 E. Main Street, Trumansburg.
