M. Champion, Cecil

Cecil M. Champion of 9776 Townline Road, Interlaken passed away at the Lakeside Nursing Home on Monday, July 21, 2003 at the age of 79.

Born on December 31, 1923 in Hector, New York, Cecil was the son of Ezra and Esther Houseworth Champion.

Cecil owned and operated his own farm for many years and had been employed by GLF.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie and a son David. Cecil is survived by 4 sons, John and Raymond of Interlaken, Jim of Ovid and Alan of Seneca Falls; 3 daughters, Grace Riddle and Betty Jean Champion of Trumansburg and Tina Champion of Ithaca; a sister, Ruth Ike of Townsendville; 2 brothers, Art of Kingston and Richard of Napa, CA and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Cecil's wishes, private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
