Marian M. Mount

Marian Mava Mount, 89, of Trumansburg, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Lakeside Nursing Home. Born on April 2, 1920 in Mecklenburg, Marian was the daughter of the late James C. and Mary Hinrichs Jensen. Marian enjoyed being a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Jacksonville United Methodist Church.

Marian was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Jack D. Mount; a brother Victor H. Jensen; three sisters Lillian M. Baker, Vivian J. Auble, and Doris E. Collins and a daughter-in-law Paula Mount. She is survived by a daughter Joyce Creech (Robert) of Ithaca; a son Karl Mount (Penny) of Romulus; six grandchildren Colleen Creech Thomas (William), Shannon Creech Jordan (Charles), Holly Creech Hicks (Aaron), Karl Lee Mount II (Doreen), Stephen Ward Mount (Treseann), and Christopher Dane Mount (Craig Rogers); grandchildren through marriage Heather, Kimberly, and Kristen Huntley; 27 great-grandchildren; a sister Vera I. Fiester of Lewisburg, PA and many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Marian's wishes, a private family service at the Grove Cemetery will be held at a later date. No calling hours have been scheduled.
