Mary Blake

MARY BLAKE-age 83 of West Covert Road, died suddenly on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Cayuga Medical Center.

Mary was born in Ogdensburg, NY on August 30, 1934, the only daughter of Wainwright D. and Alice E. (Marshall) Blake. She completed her Master’s Degree and was a special education teacher in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and New York, most recently retiring from substitute teaching at Trumansburg Central Schools in 2010.

She is survived by her loving wife, Dolores Dewbury; her children, Peter Thompson of Washington, John Thompson of Georgia and Susan Thompson of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Michael (Scarlin) Thompson, Anna Thompson and Charles Thompson; great granchildren, Idalys and Marshall; and a stepson, Adam Dewbury of Saranac Lake.
