Mary Ann Harding

Mary Ann Harding of Trumansburg passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the age of 73.

Mary Ann was born in Leonardtown, Maryland on February 8, 1943, a daughter of the late John and Rosalie (Owens) Russell. With an incredible work ethic, she almost always had multiple jobs at any given time and was devoted to whatever job she had. Mary Ann enjoying camping, crocheting blankets for family, flower gardening, bowling, and loved animals. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and continued to live each day to the fullest.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Jack Harding; six children, Rick (Vicki) Parker, Bonnie (Chris) Austin, Diane Harding, Ann Marie (Glenn) Feller, Bruce Harding, and Tammy Frisbie; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Pat) Russell Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by a stepson, Donny Harding.

The family will be present to receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00pm on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home. Prayers of committal will follow at Grove Cemetery.
