Michelle A.  Neiss

Michelle A. Neiss of Trumansburg passed away after a courageous health battle on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the age of 43.

Michelle was born in Ithaca on October 14, 1973, a daughter to Gary and Jeanne (Blake) Snyder. She graduated from Trumansburg High School and worked as a supervisor at Kinney’s in Trumansburg. Michelle always looked forward to supporting her family at the demolition derby held every year at the Trumansburg Fair. Always putting others before herself, Michelle was devoted to her family, especially her two children and beloved dogs.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Charles Neiss IV; two children, Ayla and Chucky Neiss; father, Gary Snyder; brother, Mike Snyder; sister, Jackie Phillips; in laws, Charles and Sharon Neiss III; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanne Snyder in 2006.

The family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. In keeping with Michelle’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
