Nancy L. Adams

Nancy L. Adams of Hector passed away at Beechtree Care Center on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the age of 74.

Born in Jamestown, Ohio on March 24, 1941, Nancy was a daughter of the late H. Wendell and Ida L. (Leath) Irwin. She worked for 25 years in the Radiology Department at Cayuga Medical Center. Following her retirement, Nancy remained busy operating the Budd Farms Bed and Breakfast in Hector.

Nancy enjoyed spending time outdoors around the farm helping her husband, Budd, and tending to her garden. She was an avid reader and cook.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Budd Adams in 2008; and a sister Linda Cooper in 2013. She is survived by three children, Scott (Sandie) Grooms, Wendy (Robert) Richards, and Tracy Grooms; three step-children, Dr. Stephen (Emalese) Adams, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Adams, and Sally Adams (Francis) Ward; twenty grandchildren; eight great-grandchild; two sisters, Gina Pitzer, and Shelley DeAngelias; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Hector Presbyterian Church, Route 414, Hector with the Rev. Jim and Nancy Yao officiating.
