Nathaniel Ball, Lukas

d. February 11, 2003

Lukas Nathaniel Ball, 19 month old infant son of Angela Ball of 418 Cascadilla Street, Ithaca passed peacefully in his sleep and went safely home to God on Tuesday, February 11, 2003.

From the moment this precious boy was born on June 28, 2001 his warm, welcoming smile and cuddle-hungry hugs brightened the lives of everyone around him. Lukas was a loving, sensitive and caring boy with boundless energy who loved to praise and worship Jesus through Gospel music. Embracing life head-on he danced, threw his little football, jumped around in his ball-pit, swam and continually exercised his beautiful sense of humor which never failed to warm your heart and make you smile.

Lukas is survived by his mother, Angela Ball of Ithaca; his father, James Harris of Woodhull; his wonderful big sister, Hannah Lecoq of Ithaca; maternal grandparents, Harold and CarolLee Ball of Interlaken; paternal grandmother, L. Harris of Dryden; maternal great-grandmother, Dorothy Niver of Ithaca; uncle "Fuzz" & aunt Nicole Ball; uncle Brian Niver; aunt Charlotte Richardson; aunt Jennifer Reynolds and family; uncle Joe & aunt Dot Bennett; great-aunt Patricia Ball; great-uncles Donald Ball and Charles Niver; a host of additional relatives both near and far, countless friends and precious playmates including the following special people and their families: Doug Lecoq, Csiko, Rashida and Ilana Sawyer, Steve and Kathy Moyer, Betrina Niver and family, Terry and Connie Moore, Pastor Theodore and Beverly Craig, Paul and Helen Ditmars and William Lange and Barb Hazard. "It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go to heaven alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home".
