Neva M. Lapoint

Neva M. LaPoint of 7844 ½ County Road 153, Interlaken died at home on November 27, 2008 at the age of 71.

Born in Flushing, New York on February 28, 1937, Neva was the daughter of Lester and Neva (Dickens) Mattocks.

Neva loved her family and cherished the times they had together. She also enjoyed reading, antiques and the lake.

She is survived by five children, Craig (Jan) LaPoint of Interlaken, Londy (Ed) Powers of Trumansburg, Brad (Diann) LaPoint of Trumansburg, Jeff (Cindy) LaPoint of Charlotte, NC and Amy LaPoint of Trumansburg; two brothers, Lloyd Mattocks of Santee, SC and David Mattocks of Vernon, VT and extended family including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Neva's wishes, no public services will be scheduled.
