Patricia A. Sanderson

Patricia A. Sanderson, age 43, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Anchor Drive on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

Patricia was born on August 9, 1972, the eldest child of John and Edith (Hess) Sanderson. She graduated from Whitney Point High School and went on to complete her Associates Degree from Commonwealth Community College in Virginia. She was a valued employee with her exceptional job skills and helpful demeanor.

She is survived by her partner, Dan Desmond; her father, John O. Sanderson, both of Ithaca; and a brother, Michael (Jennifer Appley) of East Branch, NY, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. “Trish” was preceded in death by her mother, Edith H. Sanderson in 2014 and by her godmother, Roberta Ingalls in 2015.

A Memorial Service, led by Fr. Gurton Brewster, will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street in Trumansburg.
