Paul E. Schooley

Paul E. Schooley of Trumansburg passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the age of 75.

Paul was born in Candor on November 20, 1939, a son of the late Charles and Flora (Beardsley) Schooley. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for two years. Paul worked for many years as a farm hand, retiring from Babcock Farms in Ithaca. He was an avid hunter and was very proud of his extensive gun collection. A tinkerer at heart, Paul loved working with anything mechanical.

Paul is survived by his wife of 17 years, Dianna Schooley; three sons, Phillip (Nora), Alan (Vanessa), and John (Sheri) Schooley; two step sons Cyle (Eleanor) and Kevin (Sabine) Crane; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Preciado; and sister in law Pat Schooley. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his two brothers, Keith and Charles Schooley.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes there will be no services.
