Peter C. Ginnever

Peter C. Ginnever, age 63, of Trumansburg, passed away surrounded by family and friends on July 23, 2015 at Cayuga Medical Center.

Born April 21, 1952 in Ithaca, Peter was the son of the late Kenneth and Bernice Wright Ginnever. He enjoyed spending time at family gatherings and parties. Other pleasures included playing cards, working on vehicles, and just driving around the countryside looking at the great farmland. Throughout his life Peter worked many farming and trucking jobs, with the latest being at Paolengeli Construction where he was employed for many years.

Pete truly did appreciate all of the thoughts and help that many people gave him in his life - Bless you all. A good heart he did have. Give a prayer for Pete.

Pete is survived by his sister Karen Ginnever Dickson and her family; brother Doug Ginnever and his family; and by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was dearly loved by the whole family of Bob and Holly Weatherby.

Graveside services will be held at Grove Cemetery in Trumansburg on Friday, August 14th at 4:00 PM.
