Peter R. Malmfelt

Peter Raymond Malmfelt, age 59, of 668 Enfield Falls Rd., passed away on Friday, March 23, 2007 at Rochester General Hospital.

Born on February 27, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of Albert and Margaret (Ehrbar) Malmfelt.

Peter moved from Brooklyn at the age of 15 and began working as a machinist at Finger Lakes Tool and Die, a family business, which later became Lansing Instrument Corporation, from where Peter retired in 2001.

Peter is survived by his mother, Margaret Malmfelt of Enfield; a brother, John (Janie) Malmfelt of Greensboro, NC; an uncle, John Ehrbar of Enfield; a niece, Kathleen Shields and her family; two nephews, Christopher Malmfelt and Kevin Malmfelt and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Malmfelt.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Leo Reinhardt at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Immaculate Conception Church, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca.
