Philonease L. Pacetti

Philonease Lenora Pacetti of Ithaca passed away at Beechtree Care Center on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the age of 90.

Philonease was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on October 25, 1927 a daughter to the late Clarence and Naomi (Webb) Mizell. A great southern cook, she prided herself in making the best chicken and dumplings and homemade biscuits. Philonease was loyal to her family, crocheting quilts for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her sweet, kind, and loving demeanor will be missed by all her family and friends.

Philonease is survived by three sons, Ronald (June) Howard, Arthur Pacetti Jr., and Phillip (Tracy) Pacetti; four grandchildren, Micah and Brendan Howard, Ronelle Yeip, and Nicholas Pacetti; and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Philonease was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Pacetti Sr.; and a sister, Marie.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 319 Pennsylvania Ave., Trumansburg. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
