Raymond S. Reynolds

Raymond S. Reynolds, of 1229 Trumansburg Rd., Ithaca, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at the age of 73.

Born February 3, 1934 in Dryden, NY, Ray was a son of the late Spencer and Eloise (Estlack) Reynolds. On June 23, 1953, Ray entered the United States Army and he was honorably discharged on June 22, 1955. He spent many years as a computer engineer for IBM and for the U.S. Army.

Ray is survived by a sister, Betty J. (Jack) Swartz of Trumansburg; and by step-sisters Dixie Merilahti, Sharron Voght, and Sandra Hunsinger.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Jim Geuder, will be held at Lakeside Nursing Home at 2pm on Friday, October 26, 2007.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hospicare of Ithaca, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, 14850 or Lakeside Nursing Home, 1229 Trumansburg Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850.

Ray's family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Lakeside Nursing Home for the love and care shown to Ray over the past several years.
